Connecticut Secretary of the State, early voting and absentee ballot totals
Statewide votes cast through all methods as of October 29, 2026 (absentee ballots returned plus in-person early votes), from the Secretary's daily release. Mail requested is the Secretary's count of absentee ballots issued. Updated Oct 29; retrieved Oct 30, 2:02 AM ET.
- Connecticut has no county governments and the Secretary publishes no town-by-town table, only the ten towns with the most early votes (top_municipalities, early in-person votes to date), so there are no county figures.
- Party figures are voters' registered party affiliation, early votes plus returned absentee ballots, not how anyone voted. Other combines minor parties.
- The Secretary calls these figures unofficial and subject to change. Each release covers the previous day and is posted the next morning; the release gives a date, not a time.
- Mail requested is absentee ballots issued, as the Secretary reports it.
- No 2022 comparison: Connecticut had no in-person early voting in 2022.
